Open Data Atlas

OpenApp and The HSE are collaborating to develop a set of services, built around Open Data Atlas and Health Atlas Ireland.
Web Applications in Django and WordPress
Django is becoming a very popular Web Application framework for rapid development and deployment (in a space pioneered by Ruby and Rails). We develop and deploy in Django.
Wordpress is considered the most popular Web Content Manangement System and we offer design and development services through our inhouse partner, Turlough McAnespy.

All our solutions are deployed on and supported with Open Source technologies. We can provide installation, configuration and deployment support for a broad range of solutions including OpenLDAP, Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, Suse), XEN, PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWStats, Cacti, Ossec, Nagios.
OpenOffice Training Materials
OpenApp have been users of Open Source Desktop tools since at least 2002 and, over that time have used a great many Desktop tools and programs. These would include Gnome, KDE, Konqueror, Nautilus, GIMP, Inkscape, Firefox, Thunderbird and many more.
Training for ECDL: A Practical Course in StarOffice 8
In 2006 OpenApp developed this training manual in collaboration with Blackrock Education Centre, Training for ECDL Syllabus 4: “A Practical course in StarOffice mapped to Open Office, on Windows XP” is a collaborative publication between OpenApp and Blackrock Education Centre. Fully approved by the ECDL Foundation, ECDL for StarOffice 8 offers an excellent training opportunity on an alternative office suite.
