Senior Application Developer

OpenApp is an innovative software company providing IT solutions primarily to the healthcare industry.

A pioneer in creating patient-centric, rare disease registry software, it has been developing solutions in health data analytics and intelligence including geospatial analysis for almost two decades.

We are looking for a talented, passionate, committed and experienced Frontend Developer who will significantly contribute to our enthusiastic team, delivering life-changing solutions to patient organisations, clinical groups and the pharmaceutical industry.

The Opportunity

Working directly with the senior architect, you will work with a very strong team of developers involved in a fantastic project based on a Python/Django and JavaScript/VueJS technology stack. You will work as part of a small, agile but expanding team and will play an integral part in building the current framework which will be used to deliver applications to the healthcare sector. You will design and develop components, develop the Frontend architecture, interact with business analysts, direct/mentor junior developers and contribute towards the platform roadmap.

The Person

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in professional Frontend application development
  • Relevant qualification, ideally at degree level
  • Strong JavaScript experience, VueJS and/or AngularJS
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies
  • Experience in estimating and tracking against estimates
  • Desirable to have experience in the following:
  • Graph QL, GIT, Linux, UX (user experience)
  • Passionate about technology and an interest in developing your skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
    Strong communication and collaboration skills
