Our specialities lie in utilising open source tools to deliver applications, systems & solutions.

We have extensive experience in Health Intelligence, Virtual Consultation, Geographic Information, Patient Registries and Document Management.

The System Administration team support the operation and growth of the business by ensuring IT infrastructure is operated to high standards, by implementing changes to business systems, and by implementing new technology capabilities for the company. We are seeking a person to join the team and grow with the company.

This role is broad in scope and would suit someone looking to further develop and/or broaden their IT skill-set.

The position is office based, during regular working hours. Due to Covid 19, working from home is currently available. Otherwise, the role is office based.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support system administration activities
  • Install and configure OS and application layers
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Build and maintain new systems for customer deployment
  • Improve and maintain system security
  • Write technical and procedural documentation
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as may be required as the role evolves

You must have the following skills and experience in order to be considered for the position:

  • 2-3 years of network administration, or Linux system administration experience
  • Linux systems administration skills, especially on Debian and Ubuntu
  • Demonstrable knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
  • An understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP/S, SMTP and DNS to debug and troubleshoot common problems
  • An understanding of technologies of virtualisation, such as Xen project, Docker, etc.
  • Good analytical and problem solving abilities
