MyHomeFromHome.ie is the website of the National Advocacy Programme Alliance (NAPA), a multi-agency advocacy group for nursing home care. This public site publishes up to date information about nursing home care in Ireland, as well as providing information on individual nursing homes.
Features
The site is developed around a customised version of the Plone Content Management System that included the following features.
- Richly formatted PDF. Output using Plone modules customised by OpenApp
- The ability for individual nursing homes to submit their information to NAPA. This information can be used to create an individual page for each nursing home, including photos and brochures.
- A dynamic map, developed on top of Google Maps, plotting the location of each home
